He has trained thousands of marketers and has worked in a number of industries, including, consumer-packaged goods/fast moving consumer goods, high-tech, financial services, telecom and airlines helping marketers make better decisions to deliver more revenue, profit, brand and share from their marketing actions.
He has authored several books – Marketing Calculator: Measuring and managing your return on marketing investment and co-authored ROI of Social Media: How to improve the return on your social marketing investments.
Guy is on the board of advisors with the Ad Council / Atlanta supporting them in their activities for Autism Awareness, Horn of Africa Relief, Unplanned Pregnancy Prevention, Wildfire Prevention.
Robert received an M.S. and a Ph.D. from Carnegie Mellon in Computer Science, as well as a B.S. and M.S. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Electrical Engineering. He has developed state-of-the-art technology (e.g. online learning systems, phone apps, internet applications, and desktop applications) for companies including AT&T Bell Laboratories, US West, Sony, Freshwater Software, and school districts across the country. Also as a University professor for 10+ years, he has taught over 3,000 students in all levels of Computer Science and Mathematics. Currently, he is the Director of Industrial Strategy in Industry 4.0 at a large manufacturing company where he works with Plants as a Data Scientist use IoT and Data Science to improve efficiency. In the past, he worked in Supply Chain utilizing Data Science to create business results. But through all that, his greatest accomplishment is being the father of two awesome teenage boys.
